Why must I reselect options every time I use a tool

I have to extrude a number of drawing shapes to a point.  I also want each to be a component.  The PP tool defaults to 'new body' every time its called up and if one misses that they end up with a body that's useless because it's combined itself with the previous 3d shape - do you get it?  If I'm using a tool and I want it to behave a certain way, I shouldn't have to reconfigure it every friggin' time I use it.  I really can't understand why this has yet to be fixed.  Is it really such a challenge to include this fundamental functionality?

Even having the option to "Make Default" or "Make Default All".

This would solve your problem.

I agree this is frustrating and we do have the ability with the software to do this.  The problem we faced in the past is some customers find it really useful and some the opposite.  We'll revisit this capability and see if we can come up with a satisfactory solution.  Will have the team take a look at this and report back.
