WebVR support in myhub

WebVR support in myhub

Currently my workflow for viewing a model in VR is to go to myhub, download an FBX, upload the FBX to sketchfab. Wait, then open the site in vr and click on the vr icon to launch a viewer.

Sketchfab is using the fully backed standard of WebVR. It works great except you cannot choose to break apart your model features. The web view version of myhub has some great features for collaboration. It would be nice to have WebVR support in the site. This would allow any headset, including google cardboard, vive, rift, and windows mixed reality to easily launch in to a VR view.

This could also be added to the fusion app. If not webvr for the app, then daydream, cardboard and arkit support. This would allow interaction with a model in a greater fashion. Instead of 3d printing your design, or just looking at the 2d render, you could break apart you model and look at it in detail before actually creating a real world object.

With windows mixed reality, you could be working in fusion, press save, put on the headset, go to myhub in a browser window that you could leave in the wmr house. Then you could jump in and view within a few moments. Then get out and go in to desktop mode within vr or not, and change features. Rinse, repeat.

This would be great for classroom use as well. I work in education and most of our project lead the way and engineering classes have 3d printers and would be able to use this feature before printing to test in a "real world" simulation. Or, with cardboard or daydream, a whole class could access the same model and go over the design features as a lesson before starting their own design.
