I’m new to Fusion 360 and loving the how intuitive it is.
I would like to make a few suggestions regarding the visual style functionality.
When building very complex assemblies it would be really useful if you could assign a different visual style to different components or groups of components to allow the designer to work with the complete assembly seeing through items.
Here's my suggestion for an update to the Visual Styles feature for both engineers and technical illustrators.
Made the outer container of wireframe with the inter components some shaded and some transparent (not using materials mapping)
This would need to be a feature of the body itself with a global on/off button so that it would switch to a single visual style for all items
Finally, the option to save the visual style options and load them whenever required working in conjunction with Display Saver created by Patrick Rainsberry from Autodesk.
Applying the unique visual style to a body or group of bodies would provide an amazing design aid to an already awesome product.
If there is a way of doing this currently please tell me how
Visual Style showing the outer case as transparent and the inter trays solid
Cheers
