using ITAR compliant AWS for cloud storage

Hi Just a question / suggestion. I hear that AD uses AWS for their cloud based storage. I do some work for commercial and some for aerospace markets. The commercial stuff I have no issue with cloud based storage. I figure it's safer and less prone to loss or corruption than my local network. But my aerospace work is subject to ITAR. Being subject to ITAR means it needs to be secured in an ITAR compliant situation. I am starting to use Fusion360 for my commercial work but still use my old programs for the aerospace work. Does AD happen to store it's user files on the ITAR compliant region of AWS? If not is there any plan for an ITAR compliant option? Perhaps for a small fee us little shops can afford as not all aerospace is done by big shops. If neither of those are options could AD publish a step by step on how to correctly and officially bypass the cloud storage of specific user files so we can use the cloud on our commercial and work offline on the aerospace?

I also work with highly confidential projects for multinationals. I currently shy away from F360 because I cannot assure my clients that their data is 100% secure and encrypted. If there were a way to convince my clients that Fusions AWS system is secure I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Not having an option for ITAR compliant cloud storage is one of the biggest things limiting our use of Fusion 360.  AWS does have an ITAR compliant cloud solution: https://aws.amazon.com/compliance/itar/

ITAR Compliance would be a great feature to see. Some cloud storage companies offer it for an extra fee. The company I work for would gladly pay a little extra to be able to use Fusion for our customer that require ITAR compliance. I know amazon AWS has the govcloud which is ITAR compliant. An option to host our fusion cloud files on the AWS govcloud would be excellent.

Dear Autodesk, it’s beyond time to do this. You’ve invested in BOOM-laden tutorials of Titan showing us how to make rocket parts with F360, and now that actually I’m about to become ITAR registered and start making them, I need to dump it.

At least I won’t have to do the weird "cloud credits" thing any more 😂

Yes, please do this.

I am going to have to buy a competitors software or something to be Itar compliant.   Please do this so I can stay with fusion 360 cam.

From a (currently) paying customer, this is a show stopper. An offline mode or secure cloud mode is really essential.
