Many have vision issues consequently the real need to be able to adjust, with in Fusion 360 preferences the menu's text size, font, style and definitely color, the gray is terribbly straining on the eyes.
I'm 60 years old. I have pretty good eyes for a 60 year old. 1 Use 1.25 reading glasses. That's it. My first CAD design program (designing gas turbine airfoils) used an Evans and Sutherland graphics box connected to a VAX 11/780 - I've been at this a long time! I really like Fusion 360 - I'd hate to give up on learning it just because I can't read the &%yu((#0 menus!
I'm a new user to Autodesk Fusion 360 and the absolute, very first thing I want to do with it is increase the size of the fonts in the menus and change the menu background colors. Where in the blazes do they keep that preference? Not under preferences, where you would expect it to be found.
I can see that Autodesk pays really close attention to this issue ... NOT.
Don't mean to be too critical, but this is a basic usability issue.
To date, as far as I know they have done zero and I've heard no rumors as to them working or considering working on this issue, and it is an issue for sure. I know they do work very hard and have a tremendous plate full taking care of everything in this very complicated package, so I just wait in quiet and hopeful expectation that they will address this issue at some point......... soon 🙂
Working on a small screen with high resolution also makes the icons/font quite small, so I can only agree that it would be very nice to have the ability to control these settings! Keep the good work Autodesk
Working with a 34 inch wide display screen with a 3440x1440 resolution. The menu font size is very small. We could definitely use a new "User Preferences" option to set/increase the font size. As Fusion 360 is designed right now: the higher your screen resolution is, the smaller the menu labels will be.
