updates or no updates?

updates or no updates?

Please tell me why the design and drawings want to update if nothing was done to it.

I would open a design to export a DXF from a part and then the drawing wants to save this step.

then the drawing needs to update, why?

This is very time consuming and irritating, as I did not change anything. Now for a single  part this is nit so bad, but if you have over 50 parts its pretty dam frustrating.

Do you call this a revision?

I call it madness..........

Can you turn off Auto Save on exit in your preferences? Also when you export did you change visibility of the sketch? This would be seen as an edit. I tried opening a file, expand the sketch folder and exported without changing any visibility bulbs and don't get a prompt to save.

Thanks HT

I will try that on exit.

No I just activate the flat pattern and export from there.

I just tried this and I think that's a bug. If I just activate the flat pattern then exit flat pattern it doesn't show as an edit but like you say the export does make Fusion think there's been an edit.

It would be a good idea to report this in the support forum. Do you want to report it or should I? Be a good idea to record a screencast to show what's going on.
