Update outdated drawings with updated title block

Update outdated drawings with updated title block

I have done roughly 1000 drawings for various parts using a title block that i created in fusion since the new editable title block option has become available. I have been using a template to create my drawings. Today, the title block information had to be updated and all previous drawings now must use this newly updated title block. I cannot seem to find a way to update all my previous drawings with the new title block without having to re-draw each part again. In the future i may need to add new information to the title block if my business transitions again. Is there something i am missing here as i believe this is something that really needs to be available if it isn't already, the idea of using an exported version of a title block to edit outside of fusion and then to import into each drawing is a very long winded solution to this problem. All that needs to be done is: Make the drawing templates (that are created in fusion) work the same way as when the user is prompted to update a drawing after modifying the model for said drawing. This way, when i edit my drawing template inside of fusion, when i open a drawing that used the outdated template, i am prompted to update to the latest version of my drawing template, that way i am always using the same drawing template for ALL of my drawings and not just the future ones. I feel that this would be a very useful option, as the idea of going through thousands of drawings and redrawing them all is extremely unappealing.

Thank you for your consideration.

Someone just asked similar question in the support forum. I came up with a workaround that might help a bit where you import a temple containing a title block with the same name as the tile block in the existing drawing.

See this link.

Indeed!

HughesTooling workaround isn't that complicated, but I would still like this to be a bit more straight forward.

Also, the attributes get reset, which is a shame.
