Turning enhancements - Radial/Diameter Mode

 In the lathe Cam Setup there is a option for " Radial Dimension Mode".   It has a selection arrow and the description states: 

Specifies whether radial dimensions are shown as radius or diameter.

Screenshot attached below.

Only Radius Mode is available.  There is currently no selection available for Diameter Mode.

I am aware that the post processor for Fanuc outputs correctly in diameter mode, and I have always worked in diameters (my personal preference, less prone to human error).

This issue has been raised on several occasions (specifically in 2015) with promises of a imminent fix, but is not available as of 19Aug17.

Yes,

You want to be able to see all the heights in diameter as well.

So if that setting would work that would be great.

Sounds like an oversight. I'll figure our what happened to the fix.

Completely agree, diameter mode for turning is really needed.

This definitely needs to work. I had to modify a post to spit out diameters instead of radii. It is there but cannot de-select it.

Apparently no fix yet, since this problem still exists.......

Wow, you would think with updates that seem to come out as often as Win10, one of them would contain this fix.

Shades of Solidworks updates!!  I recommended an improvement (regarding Single Stroke Fonts) for Solidworks years ago, which was accepted and put in the queue for implementation.  Then nothing happened.  I forgot about the suggestion, and one day (6 years later) I received an email out of the blue advising me that my IR had been implemented.
