This should be of high importance. It greatly reduces the functionality of Fusion 360. Additionally, the projected curve should be able to have all constraints work on it as well.
This along with inability to fillet projected curves is a severe handicap. I am currently working around this by offsetting the projected curves by 0mm (that makes them not update properly when model dimensions change).
