ALT-1 and ALT3 work fine I guess, but I like to swap between the two often when using tsplines. I don't think the Tilde key is being used for anything at the moment (I could be wrong!) but it would be super sweet if the ` tilde key swapped between box and smooth mode for really quick editing!
Combined with my other idea for a locking triad, I think it could make tsplines environment much quicker and agile when modelling.
