tool inspection machine stops

there needs to be the ability to create a machine stop and tool retract at specified intervals during long roughing operations

Automatically spitting the opperation could be also usefull to use a differnt tool as well.  I am adding this to future concideration.

You can currently split the opperation into multiple opperations.

A simple split would be using the heights, you could also use containment areas.

You can add the machine stop using Manual NC

On time? Or on where this chips are? Hmm, the software doesn't know that.

I mean I like the idea but not sure on an implentation.

Laurens-3DTechDraw its usually calculated on cut time mastercam does it based on cut time or cut distance.

Well in roughing that could be possible indeed. In Finishing it would ruin the finish if it just thought well let's retract here since my time is up.

If you explain it fully in your idea. Instead of stating a demand maybe the questions and reactions wouldn't have had been necessary. 

I'm from the Netherlands and we tend to be a very direct and straight forward in our communication but I don't feel your comments are in any constructive. So that's why the reaction above isn't really constructive either.
