It's all on the wish-list already! But don't count on it being done within a year or two.

would like to see Autodesk integrate an electrode wizard into fusion 360 to extract or design electrodes within the package, this would be an excellent addition to an already great system.

I would like to generate NC Code to use for cutting parts with our Makino wire EDM machine.

I do not need to set machining conditions, etc.; I simply want the raw code.   I am thinking I should select the “cutting” option and pick “2D profile”.  As far as tool selection maybe select laser and set a “kerf with” to match my EDM wire kerf.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeh I'm in the same position. I would really like to have fusion handle atleast 2d wire edm cutting to begin with. I would gladly help with what functions thats needed in an basic implementation. So if any of the developers see this feel free to contact me.

I'm all aboard for E.D.M. support I would love to be able to use just Fusion and get rid of BOB-CAD. Where I work they only want to use one piece of software which I understand. Makes it quicker for me to train someone. I just prefer programming in a 3D space and already use Fusion at home.
