Text as Sketch font preview

The new Text as Sketch command is great - but I feel the font selection still leaves something to be desired. The dialog just shows me a list of font names with no indication of what that font looks like in practice. I have hundreds of fonts on my system and can't remember all of them, I have to select each one in turn and select OK to see what it looks like until I find the one I want. This is just not practical so I use a DTP program to find the font I want then just find the font in the Fusion 360 list. It works but is far from perfect!

Another problem is the full screen list you see when you click on the font name from the small cog-wheel Options dialog. On my screen it just shows the fonts up untill the middle of 'S'. The screen is then full and there is no way to scroll to the remaining fonts. So if I decide I want to change the font from Ariel to Times New Roman, I can't, it's just not on the list.  

Finally, the list of fonts does not show all the fonts on my system, just most of them. The few fonts (I have noticed as) missing are very common and standard types, no funny formats or weird names (Microgramma in my case).

This is a valid idea, we need to look into fixing the experience but is not currently being prioritized. We will look into this and keep you posted on it's status.

 A very good idea. I was just going down through the list of fonts trying to match a font to one in a photo.

Is there a printout of the Fusion 360 fonts showing the name and font style?

Why is there not a team that is doing user experience additions and fixes?

There are a number of ideas in the idea station that ought to considered very basic, that really should require no votes because they should already be part of the program or in the works. It seems like bigs things are happening but the things that would make the greatest noticable impact are simple. Find my idea suggestions and see that they fall into this catagory. 

The Fusion360 Shoe Store would have you looking through every shoebox in the store to find even a pair close to what you want, just because they didn't consider having a box with a picture on it. And on top of that only 3 out of 422 customers voted to have a picture on the box. So what's wrong?

You can see that my Shoe Store analogy is quite accurate. Where's the guy? He's out helping to build the rest of the mall?

PLEASE IMPLEMENT THIS IDEA!!!

I came here to suggest this idea...I do a lot of engraving using F360 and for me, by far, the biggest waste of time is having to select each font to be able to view it and then go back to see the next one!!!  On my jobs I have to pick fonts that are suited for the product or persons name and I really need this fixed to save me hours of time. Just the ability to use the arrow keys to scroll throught the fonts and have it change them in the sketch would be very valuable.

Definitely needed.  I have spent over an hour trying to find a font that looks how I want (similar to my own handwriting) without success.  In other applications (like Microsoft Word), this takes less than a minute.
