To obtain a further ease and rapidity in the design phase would be important to insert a tool that allows to insert construction points or a tape measure to measure the lengths of the segments drawing de4l as into Sketchup application
What is needed when using the measure tool is to be able to click on say a line as my first point then have the the measurement from the cursor show until I click the next point. The tool could work exactly the same but just show the cursor position. I don't know how many time I've needed to just check the approximate distance on say a curved wall but can't because there is no line or construction point under it to lock on to. Using snap point is no good if the position I want is on the actual curved face.
