Yes, I brought a model in today and just needed to quickly cap off some missing fillets, with one side open - so I can't use patch.
In my example I have 2 curves, that should meet 2 other curves with one rail. I was very surprised to not have really any options to control the shape.
Since it doesn't know what is at the other side of my rail, it can't be tangent if the shape changes. So then I'd be stuck with loft, which has it's own issues. Selecting multiple curves automatically joins it into one shape.
I'd like to see options for how it treats the rail. Should the profile move along the rail as the rail changes it's normal? How does fusion treat a rail that is a 3D curve? It's current option feels like it would only work if the rail only moves in 2 dimensions.
I'd also like to see option to add profiles.
With 2 rail sweeps it's also very nice to be able to add manual profiles after seeing a preview. In Rhino it's called "add slash." If you are running along very long rails with varying surfaces, the profile may end up taking the wrong path. So you can add some slashes to help avoid odd twists.
