Hi,
When you are drawing pipes, wires, tubes or anything related to splines in 3D there is no control (besides move copy) how things are aligned. You literally have to eyeball where things line up.
can we have an align option on right click after selecting the Tangent line or the Curvature line of splines, allowing us to align the Tangent line along, X, Y, Z, a construction axis or a line on component/Body.
Also on construction axis having the end points selectable as vertices would go a long way. then you can dimension the construction line giving you full control over your tangent line.
For curvature line having tangent option for plane choice (XY, ZY, XZ) then an axis (just like tangent line) would fix the curvature to how we want it.
I have added link to a fusion file for testing. Assume the cylinder as you connector you are trying to attach to. I have added a construction axis for alignment and they you have your spline representing your tube/wire/pipe what ever it may be. align the spline tangent line along the axis and have the tip of tangent line align with the tip of the axis.
