Snapping in CAM environment

Snapping in CAM environment

Are there plans on bringing the snapping over to the CAM side?

I think if you select a line for the start point it will use the midpoint of that line to start from.  So you can do it, but I think it would be more intuitive if you could snap to midpoints directly.

@kb9ydn I thought so as well, but I was trying that before I made the video and in some cases it seemed to grab the midpoint, other times it grabbed exactly where I was clicking, which wasn't the midpoint. It may be random..

It would make sense to be able to use an arbitrary point along a line as a start point if desired.  Or if you want the mid point you should be able to select the mid point.  That would give the most flexibility.  It should never be random though.
