Fusion should fill the gap between polygonal modeling and CAD modeling with solids and surfaces by enabling Fusion to convert any type of geometry to a t-spline. As such it is in need of retopology features to either adjust topology of existing t-spline bodies or from imported files. Such features would enhance and speed-up the workflow without the need to go to a polygonal modeler. Ideally, it should be something like the TopoLogic plugin for 3ds Max:
