smaller tool buttons

I like regularly used tools to have a button on the ribbon for quick access. Menu hunting is slow and inconvenient. At this time we can add/remove buttons, however, the sheer size of the **** things severely limits how many can fit before the navigation cube is covered.

Please make an option for half-size buttons in two rows. There is a good reason most programs have many smaller buttons. I know it can make the interface look confusing but as an option for those of us used to it that would be great.

The viewcube should not be obscured by the toolbar: when the toolbar extends to fill the top of the screen, the viewcube should move below the toolbar.  Please let me know if you're not seeing this behavior (a screenshot may be helpful).

We don't have any plans to provide smaller icons in the toolbar at this time, though it's something that we could consider adding if others experience the same issue.  Changing the status to Future Consideration.

The reason I ask is illustrated in the attached screenshot. Oversize buttons that always cover the viewcube if I add one too many. I would love more icon space. In F360 my viewcube never moves, in Inventor fusion it always moves out the way. Maybe I'm missing a setting somewhere.

In a similar situation, If I dock the browser, it always jumps up to the menu bar. This means the tool ribbon ends up sitting over it and obscuring the browser, as seen below. If the ribbon had a docking function they could snap together. 

I don't know if this and the above problem are related but it seems like the ribbon isn't talking to the other parts of the UI like it should. Anyway, hope this is helpful.

The toolbar should not obscure the View cube or the browser.  Can you tell me if you're still experiencing this issue after the last update?  If so, can you try reseting to the default layout?  On windows, you can go to the three-bar menu in the upper-left corner of the app, then choose View -> Reset to default layout.

Yes, please a smaller toolbar icon option. You already have the smaller icons built. Just use the icons from the drop down menus.

i agree, smaller buttons. I use a 14" laptop so screen space is limited

Yes, I agree too.

I'm used to work with lots of icons in previous CAD-programms. Then all my most used tools are just 1 click away. Now I have to go through several flipout-menu's, which is much slower. Also I use a 23 inch screen. So, it's not only a problem for small screens.

So, please insert a smaller toolbar icon option.
