Ok i know this one must be very tricky but sketching on a non flat surface would be incredible !
I know you can project drawings and models on surfaces but it's time consuming when you have to redraw or modify things (for 3D models, you have to unlink everything after projection and its very hard even after unlinking to change anything).
Back in November auto desk said this functionality would be in one of the next few releases. Most other modeling programs I've used already have this type of tool. It' really useful.
Agreed! Wrapping sketches onto a curved surface is really useful and it's easy in CATIA (with the right licenses). Please move this one up the priority list!
I would really like this feature too. Either by being able to sketch on a non planar surface or by projecting/wrapping a sketch onto a non planar surface. And i dont mean project to closest point we allready have that but it morhps my sketches when i use this.
The weird thing is that images can be wrapped to surfaces so it buggles me why they didn't implement it for sketches too.
