Sketch visibility automatically turned on when editing - Solidworks / Creo do it

Hi

I know I am not the first to have this idea, but I find some posts dating back to 2015 and still seemingly nothing has happened: Even if all All Work Features visibility is turned off, I want to immediately see my sketch when chosing to edit it. This is a basic function in Solidworks and Creo for instance and just simply a necessity. Nobody can edit an invisible sketch. Turning visibility on and off all the time manually is time consuming, painful and not up to date.

Please add

Thanks

Mani

I'm not sure you should be using object visibility to turn off sketches. It's a lot easier to use the eyeball on the sketch node in the browser. When it's "off" and you edit a sketch, the sketch becomes visible. It sounds like you are not using the eyeball control, but rather the Object Visibility list.

The object visibility list is a way to turn off visibility of things globally, for activity like rendering. It's intentionally "heavy handed". The sketch node eyeball control is what you need.

Thanks, Phil. I actually use both, the eyeball and the object visibility controls. Still trying to find the fastest ways of switching between all possible grades of visibility from everything to model only. Having turned off everything via object visibility to quickly see my actual result, it would be nice to directly jump back to editing a sketch. But I see that the Fusion team works hard on good functionalities for everybody, that do not exactly need to match my expectations. So that's ok for me.
