Can we get a divide/ subdivide line based geometry feature? This feature should be able to place points according to a specified distance (interval), a specified number of points or at a specified ratio (between 0-1). Ideally it would be fully parametric and update with modifications to the host geometry. The addition for this is the fact that it places points on top of the host geometry.
