Sometimes when sketches get busy, lines from dimensions can become confusing. Maybe if they where of a different shade or colour, it would make sketches clearer and easier to understand at first glance.

i thing, also in the drawing dimensions (the drawings for plotting or to give the custemer) can help different colours (for example: green for dimensions, yellow for hidden lines and so on)
