Selected Components.jpg

There are many dialogs where we have to select one or more Components, as in this edit dialog for a Joint. It would be incredibly helpful if, instead of just indicating how many Components are or were selected, it ALSO actually listed the selected ones by name. This would be helpful when initially defining whatever it is we're adding to the model but it would be VERY helpful when we later need to go back and edit the feature. Just saying that we have 2 objects selected isn't very helpful. Telling us exactly WHICH objects were selected would be VERY helpful. In addition, if we had a list of such objects shown in the dialog, when we move the cursor over those object names (or maybe by clicking on the object name in the list) it would be really helpful if the corresponding object were highlighted in the model itself.
