When creating a sketch off of an existing surface, Fusion automatically projects features from that surface (edges, etc) onto the sketch plane. These sketch features can be extruded if the sketch is closed. They do not, however, appear to actually be present. If one uses the project tool to project features in the sketch environment, those features show up as maroon lines.
It would be great if the automatically-generated projected features also show up as maroon in the sketch environment. That way it is easy to tell that they are already there.
