sheet metal k value greater than 1, less than 0

sheet metal k value greater than 1, less than 0

So we are using the ability to flatten a sheet metal shape as a work around for not having a proper bend tool in fusion.

The k value controls where the distortion as a result of the bending takes place (somewhere between the top face and bottom face of the sheet metal part).  Right now there is no way to prevent the top face of an object that has been attached to a sheet metal part from deforming when bent.  That is because we cannot define the k value to be greater than 1.

There are also times when bending Plexiglas by heating it along a line that a - k value would be of use, because some fabrication techniques will cause both the top and bottom faces to stretch, with no compression.
