Defeaturing, or changing, fillets is one of the best tools (and sometimes the only reason I have my data in Fusion at all) in Fusion.
But many times I need to select dozens of pieces of the edge to select them all.
Tiny ones, for those who aren't aware, can be selected by drag selecting. Thankfully that's a thing now. But if you have tiny pieces near them that doesn't work. So you are sometimes stuck just selecting things one by one.
SO, there are a few ways to do this. One way is select a fillet. Then run a command that selects the chain that meets your requirement of not changing the radius, or distance between rails, if that's how it was created. Of course, that wouldn't work for variable fillets, and what tolerance would that work in?
Another way, which is Slightly more work, but probably the most consistent. Select a fillet at one side. Select a fillet at the other "end" that you'd like the selection to go between. Then run the command which would select similar surface between the two. I would have that just be the last two selected surfaces, so you could keep running that to add to your selection if you're selecting many filleted groups.
Often times, when defeaturing, you need to delete many fillets at the same time. Well....when it works. It usually doesn't work on complex surfacing. And when Fusion fails, I'm heading back to Rhino. Fixing existing CAD model issues in Fusion is too time consuming. Changing CAD model data is speedy. There's a tradeoff.
