Scaling tools

Scaling tools

Hello Fusion360 Team! I'm really loving this software, I am an experienced rhino user, but when I use Fusion360 I miss the rhino scaling tools.

It would be really handy have a 3 point reference scaling tool: 1st point=origin, 2nd point=reference on original size, 3rd point= reference on scaled size.

Also I'd like to have the ability to scale sketches on 1 or 2 dimensions.

And the best off all would be to have a bounding box scaling tool.

Thank You Very Much, and Congratulations for this great software.

Gaston Taiba.

Hi there - former Rhino user myself.

The thing is that in a parametric environment like Fusion you work differently than in Rhino.

Rhino has no parametric tools thus a lot of rotation scale position and such we do by hand with commands.

In a parametric modeler you establish relationships and we do it that way.

If you use the Direct Modeling environment then yes it is more like Rhino.

There the tools can be useful - thus the vote from me.

Thanks for yor answer @cekuhnen

The relationships works with objects sketched on Fusion, but if you import a dxf file then you cant resize it based on other objects position.

The parametric tools are awesome, I'm actually designing a R/C Plane for practice and learn Fusion, and the parametric design and relationships thar objects have are such a powerful tool.

On the stage of design i'm working on it would be great to have a flow design analysis to make some desitions, i hope the Fusion team will be adding that feature soon.

Thank You!

Gaston.
