As someone who has used Solidworks my entire career this is the single most frustrating thing about Fusion and Inventor. Using the arrow keys to navigate around the model is how I always look at things. This feature would get me to fully switch.
Agreed, just like SolidWorks does it would be nice. This would be faster than using the cube for simple orthographic navigation. I use quick keys as much as possible just to speed things up.
This one is really frustrating for me. If you have the arrow keys set to increments that are useful for you you can quickly get the view in the correct orientation for what you are trying to do. Honestly every-time I use Fusion I'm baffled that the arrow keys are not used for navigation.
While we are at it. Shift Arrow should be a 90 degree rotation about the axis of the viewport, be it X or Y. This is extremely useful for repositioning sketches and geometry that you need to work on. I hate having sketches constantly show up upside down or sideways. Currently there's no easy/fast way to get this fixed that I'm aware of and moving the view with the keyboard arrows would be great for this.
