Rigid group as a property instead of a feature

Rigid group as a property instead of a feature

I have a couple of bigger projects in Fusion, so I link subdesigns into one masterdesign where they are joined together.

Because those subdesigns act as one thing I always need to add a rigid group at the end of the feature line. The best way to work for me now is to delete the existing rigid group and create a new one if I've added components (changing it is too much of a hassle).

I think it would be a lot better if you could toggle on each componentlevel if it's a rigid group. So if nothing moves I could select the top node, make it a rigid one and never should worry about it again...

Regards,

David

@info7JY2S are you the only-one? 😞

I think this would make it a lot easier for a lot of people. If you place a linked design it could be a setting to place them with the toggle on. That way Fusion will work a lot more like you would expect, but it would also still be possible to place is as a "flexible" design, which is very powerful in some cases (but it's more an exception imho).
