This idea is to smoothen the workflow and avoid the disruptions.
When using a revolve feature, by default "Profile" field is active in the "revolve pallette", so
1) We need to select all the profiles we want to revolve around an axis
2) Then click the axis field in the "revolve pallette"
3) And then select the axis from the sketch
This could be reduced to two steps if the selections were reversed.
By default, "axis" field should be active, so
1) Select the axis of revolution
Now Automatically the field is switched to "profile" (since there is only one axis of revolution)
2) Select all the profiles you want to revolve around the axis.
Would save loads of time if these two things were switched. I believe its like this in SolidWorks.
Same goes with the mirroring features or sketches or patterning the features or sketches. First, the axis or direction and then the profiles, this should be the workflow direction for ease of use.
