Currently when I create a setup in the CAM environment and select the bodies to machine, and then the fixture that are holding the bodies tool paths that generate violate the fixtures. The tool paths calculate that they will collide with the fixture and show this in the simulation. However why can't the tool path be generated without crashing into the fixture in the first place.
Making the tool path generation work with fixtures correctly in the CAM environment would be AWESOME 😉
The current work around involves repetitiously playing around with the machining boundary settings to see which options want crash into the fixture. This is very slow, and most often ends up with a tool path that has to bore into the stock to start machining, rather than starting outside the stock in free open space.
