In the Rendering Environment, it would be nice to be able to split the screen up into the four viewports, as one can do in the Modeling Environment.
This would be handy when doing a very close up detail shot of the model, but don't want to have to go through the steps of saving that camera view, reorienting to be able to see the moving manipulators, moving the parts, then going back to view the original camera view to see what it looks like this time round. Then repeat for additional fine adjustments.
Additionally, having the option of the Multi-viewports lets us be able to view the relationships between the various parts of the composition. You would be able to view and assess whether various assemblies are touching, intersecting or are not close enough to each other when creating a composition of more than one assembly.
A simple example: you created a water bottle in the modeling environment and want to create a dynamic and enticing rendering. To do so, you want to have at least two of these bottles next to each other, one vertical, the other on its side, rolled up and touching the vertical bottle. To help speed up the process of viewing and assessing whether the two bottles are touching each other when moving and placing them in the environment, it would be helpful to be able to view this placement from multiple view points at the same time.
