Rename parameters through input boxes

I've searched the Fusion 360 ideas and haven't found another post like this, which surprised me.

Currently, Inventor utilizes an ability to rename parameters during creation. This is done anywhere a number value is expected, and you can input the syntax "Name = Value" to apply a custom name to the parameter or sketch dimension right through dialog boxes and dimension edit boxes. But, Fusion 360 does not have a way to do this.

I rename parameters frequently, and going to the parameters window to edit names is cumbersome. I'd love to see this same workflow implemented in Fusion 360.

But what would be the result? A user parameter or a renamed model parameter?
