READ-ONLY Project Members

In our shop, we have a lot of machinist come in and open projects I made to post to whichever machine they're working on today. Sometimes they like to tweak things to their liking, but I don't want them to be able to save those changes by accident, or accidentally delete something, etc.

It would be great if I could make their username a read-only project member so they cannot actually save. With our old software, since it wasn't cloud based, I was able to do that through sharing folders through the network.

Any serious multi-user system should have a concept of access control that's finer grained than «no-access or all-access»

Our FTC Robotics Team uses Fusion 360.
We have one project we use as a library and separate 'build' projects for each season.

Last season we had issues with members accidentally creating build items in the library project.

We would like to limit the Library Project permission to read only (or at least allow them to access the project with a link).

Using individual file links is not practical.

I agree, we run into issues with this all the time, all or nothing access isn't feasible when sharing projects

This functionality would be incredibly useful. I currently teach Fusion 360 to around 60 students, at present the only way to share example files with them is to export as .f3d and get them to upload the file manually. If I share the project with them then someone will inevitably save over my example file with their own work.
