"Deactivate component" shortcut of some kind

Greetings,

it is tragic that in a model tree consisting of 30+ components the user must scroll to the top root component to deactivate the editing component. We are using the software to design products, not to spend time scrolling the model tree. A RMB option could solve this problem. 

Please, please add ASAP or make a priority in your development cycle. 

Feel free to suggest or comment my idea. Any suggestion is welcomed. 

Rule nr.1 is very useful, Fusion 360 is very useful and you make an awesome software and this community is awesome. You made good steps to enter rule nr.1. Please make good steps to exit rule nr.1

Activate "Main" component, YES pls.

I spend more time on activating/deactivating components by fideling with the bullet dot AND scrolling for halfe a day, cus the new component you always are working on is always at the bottom( and you CAN´T move the components in the browser) . 

Custom keybors shortcut or doubleclicking on emty background or somthing in the rightclick menu!!!

Fusion 360 is so clever and the people designing it are so smart they can't think of the simplest things that occur in the work path of ordinary users. 

Deactivating a component after modifying it is such a frequently used operation that not to have a simple way of doing it without scrolling to the top of the tree is just nuts.  You could

• have a right click deactivation launched from the component you have just edited.
• Have a shortcut which collapses the entire tree so that the root is instantly visible to activate it. 
• Have a keyboard shortcut which deactivates it. 
• A bunch of single click or r-click or single key options. 

Here's another thing which is simple, done by most other software and isn't there:

Go to previous view.  The number of times I dive in to modify or inspect stuff then want to go back to a specific bigger picture is legion.
