Video game engines often support extensive sky systems, and because the sky's color is procedurally generated, it lends to increased realism when compared to a blurry 360 HDR image.
With no sun and no control over the color of the sky, we can only render overcast, bright days, or whatever blurry HDR image we upload.
In essence, Fusion 360 has a purposefully simplistic lighting and camera system, but has poor support for exporting to renderers that allow more control.
Instead of building a bridge to other software, I think that a less complicated solution is to add a procedural sky system, since other lighting and camera issues can simply be worked around.
