It would be good to be able to turn off Fusion's attempt to guess one's most likely operation when creating geometry such as a primitive or an extruded sketch. If it decides to try and join many bodies, it has a tendency to bog down. It also creates an opportunity for user error if one is not paying attention. I often find that my entire model is glued together, and have to go back into the history to figure out which feature was set to JOIN, instead of NEW BODY.
One solution might be the ability to make NEW BODY the default operation, and selectively disable the contextual operation-guesser. The simplest way would be to make any operation type selecton made AFTER selecting the tool, but BEFORE starting to generate geometry, "sticky." This would seem to be a llow cost solution, since it is only a behavior change, and wouldn't require new graphical elements.
