Please Add Color Back to Visibility Icon
I don't mind the change from the Lightbulb to the Eyeball to indicate visibility, but PLEASE add back the COLOR to the icon. At 57 it's hard to see that tiny little icon even on a huge monitor and the color helps a lot.
I agree. At 61 and going strong, I have some trouble with only the eye being grey. In the browser my eyes are drawn first to the component name, then to the eye; if the eye and text were the same color it would be easier and quicker for me to find and distinguish between visible and invisible components. A color might be better than grey.
The new update did not help that issue. Gray to gray on such small icons will always suck. Has anyone looked at those icons on a cheap, low contrast display and was sitting at an off-angle?
Has anyone else notices how the gray to gray contrast vanishes first?
Guess the graphics designer for the new icons set sits in front of a very expensive, highly color accurate IPS panel... great job.
It is interesting how the Fusion UI guys see an request to bring color back, think they know better and instead just change the gray values and claim they addressed the issue.
I got sick of waiting for the fix, if anyone's interested I have figured out where the visibility icons are located.
Just cut and past whatever icon you would like in here and rename it the same as the originals, or you could open it in paint and change the color of the eye.
I found a lightbulb icon online in Crashmans777's post here and resized it 16 x 16 pixels in 3D paint, saved it as 16x16.png and replaced the eye in the folder
Now when activated in Fusion 360 I get a yellow lightbulb and when deactivated I get the light grey eye with slash. It's a much better contrast that is easily disinguishable.
My folder was in a slightly different location you had above:
Has anyone been able to figure out how to this on the Mac version? I've looked through all the files, including all 16x16 and 32x32 png files in the Autodesk folder. I have found just about every image, except the eye.
