On almost every patent drawing I have seen, the majority of the drawing number lines do not have arrows at the end directly touching a drawing figure. There should be a way to turn off the arrows at the end of the patent type balloon numbering lines that you select an edge to start from. There should be an option for just a plain old straight line to an edge.
