I have 4 different parts (part number 1, 2, 3 and 4) that have similar designs, but fit to different components of a system. I have parametrically designed p/n 1 successfully using formulas to drive component features such as ID, OD, length, etc. Is there a way within a single fusion file, to have multiple components, design iterations (ie p/n 1, p/n 2, p/n 3, p/n 4) use the same set of parameters and formulas? I don't want to have to enter each sketch of each component and change every single different formula name for each dimension each time. Couldn't we have a way in the formula menu to say, select a name p/n 1 or p/n 2 and have all the different parameters/formulas automatically update based on a single click? Like say p/n1 has OD #1 and ID#1, but p/n 2 has OD#2 and ID#3, while p/n 3 has OD#4 and ID#1. In other words, selecting the name of the component would automatically update all of the different formulas and parameters associated with the design iteration of the individual component. Then all of the CAM associated with the different part iterations would be able to be updated as well. You could design one fixture, one set of CAM operations, and update everything based on the iteration of the part number.
