Panel Data Back Button

Panel Data Back Button

Hi,

maybe already present as idea, I haven't found it.

Anyway, I find annoying to navigate in the panel data with the back button.

Now it is like this:

If I have a nested path, and I want to go back just one step...

>> Nope...I have to go to the top level and then again back to my folder.

That drives us crazy.

So.. I would like to see

Into this:

Thank you!

I agree, this frustrated me when I started. Once I trained myself not to click that it got better, but the file navigation is still pretty clunky and awful in its current state when needing to go back one or two levels.

The only change I would make to the above proposal is to bring the "Back button" closer to the file tree, so there are no mis-clicks on the "Home button".

Unless this "Back button" is programmed to work like windows explorer and always takes you back to your previous path. Then a "Home" mis-click could simply be fix by pressing the "Back button."

Just came to post this.    I don't think its current operation is intuitive at all.   People are going to expect it to act like a web browser where it takes you back a single page, not back to the home page of whatever website you are on.

Additionally, I think it is far more likely for people to intend to navigate within a given project, rather than be multiple layers deep in a project and then going back to your main project page.

Please fix this Fusion 360 team!
