Ordinate dimension datum selection

Ordinate dimension datum selection

When selecting for an ordinate dimension we should be able to pick edges instead of just points.  Right now if I add a chamfer or a fillet to the edge of a part my ordinate dimensions move on the drawing which means I have to manually re-adjust them. Attached are images of the drawing pre and post chamfer to show what I'm describing.

The X and Y ordinate datum's should be independent of each-other. Ordinate dimensions are used by machinist because they are cleaner, easier to read, and can be used to help decide how the part is held in the machine. I often want to have the X ordinate datum come from a different absolute point than the Y ordinate datum. Fusion right now doesn't give me that option.

I want fusion 360 to succeed but as of right now the drawing package is so unusable, non-intuitive, and restrictive that I just can't see that happening. Even adding basic dimensions is made to be challenging in this software.
