I use a lot of ordinate dimensions in my work, and have noticed that whenever I move my drawing view, the ordinate dimensions will only retain relative spacing to the part along one axis. When the part is moved perpendicular to the leader lines (up and down in figures below), the ordinate dimensions along the left side of Figure 1 retain their relative location to the part. However, when the drawing view is moved parallel to the leader lines (left to right in the figures below), the ordinate dimensions stay in the same location on the drawing sheet as the drawing view moves, and it is then necessary to either manually readjust the dimensions to the new drawing view location, or delete the current ordinate set and start over at the new drawing location.
I tweak my drawing views quite a bit before I get them just where I want them, and spend a lot of time realigning my ordinate dimensions. It would be great if they could all move together with the drawing.
