Option to display leading zeroes in drawings

I would like the option to display leading zeroes. Currently there is only the display option for trailing zeroes.

Yes, like the check box for trailing zeroes found in preferences and drawing's visibilty tool bar. I want one for leading zeroes.

To clarify:

When I say "option" I mean I want to be able to choose, at my own discretion, whether or not leading zeroes are displayed. There is an option like that for trailing zeroes. That option is found in two places, Preferences and the Visibility Tool Bar in Drawing's workspace. Sometimes I don't want leading zeroes. They can look crowded next to a diameter symbol.
