Currently uploads happen so thoroughly in the background that when they fail (and no failure message occurs) I keep permanently losing Designs and Drawings that in some cases are hours of work in and dozens of saved versions (all of which silently did not upload).
The upload process needs to have a more robust system which:
1. Indicates the progress and the files/versions
2. Allows the upload to be cancelled or paused
3. RETAINS THE FILE FUNCTIONAL AND LOCAL UNTIL UPLOAD IS FULLY COMPLETE AND VERIFIED *The file should be accessible via the Data Panel and usable in other designs, which should be after in any upload process)
4. May continue through a background program when Fusion 360 is closed
5. Will not lose files or file integrity if the computer loses power during the processs
6*. Ideally will retain a local copy of the most recent version of every file in active projects, which should be user selectable.
7*. Ideally can be uploaded to a local group/vault server location and uploaded from there to A360, so that collaboration can continue even with internet connection or speed issues, or Autodesk system issues.
* Items which currently do not work within the 'Cloud Only' structure of Fusion 360, but which I feel are basic fundamental requirements for a professional CAD software whether or not it also uses Cloud storage
