I tired Inkscape, I thought it was toooo open-source for me : ) I asked @keqingsong and he recommended Graphic by Autodesk. It's way better, but it is 29 bucks. I happily paid it. It's easy to use.
I can't wait until they get real Text options integrated into Fusion!
Wow...almost 4 years to add functionality that Inventor has had for like, ever? This and stick fonts are part and parcel of most CAD/CAM software out there.
i'd like it to be even a little more robust. and have text follow the contour of a face. (for example text on a conical shape that's not much deeper on the bottom then it is on the top)
also i have tried to angle text and it wouldn't work. had to schetch a square. angle it. then make an offset plane for the text.
WOW really guys? Come on this is way overdue. I can't believe this hasn't been fixed. Inkscape is a lame work around. Just waisted way too much time trying to make it work. Followed the tutorials to the letter, and when I import the SVG it's just a circle the text doesn't import. Regardless should have to run to another program when this should obviuly been added years ago.
Can anyone comment on when we will see more advanced text features show up into Fusion 360 product release? This feature has be suggest as far back as 2014 and as a product maturity issue, it is long over due. Any insights on when this feature will be delivered would be greatly appreciated.
