When measuring frequently one wants to take several measurements, one after the other.
It's tiresome to have to use the mouse to click the "restart selection" icon in the measure floating pane. (Or even more so to hit escape and then "I" all over again to start over.)
SUGGESTION: make it such that, if you are already in the measure tool and you hit "I" it has the effect of "restart selection"
