Will be good to store last link of McMaster-Carr component inserted to the project.

For example - M4 Hex inserted to project as last one . On next insertion open last page of McMaster where we choose our parts number as it will be faster search in the same category . In case new part required - find field always available. 

This option can be configurable if someone want to start McMaster from main page.

That's actually not such a great idea. In order to create properly numbered instances from a part that you've already inserted from McMaster Carr into your assembly once, you should copy/paste it within the design and NOT re-insert it again as it will then show two different or more items in the BOM for the same part with an instance counter of one(1) instead of one line with the correct instance/occurrence  counter.

I guess the 7 voters so far have never tried this out either 😕

If you check post above - I mean to return McMaster to the same category - not to the same Part number .

For already inserted part into drawing - you are right and it`s work much faster then insert same part number from web again .

But if you want to insert another length of the same screw - it`s time consuming again search same screw ( especially alloy , coating , etc. ) .

This option can be configurable in option`s.
