Make pattern copies in Pattern on Path start on path

Currently the pattern is offset in relation to the path. It would be more logical if the pattern started from the end of the path.

See the two screenshots. In the second one I've moved the circle to the end of the path. It would be great if there was a checkbox in the Pattern on Path dialog which would do this automatically, so the pattern could stay where it were but the copies would still start from the end of the line (or further in, if Start Point was non-zero). As far as I remember this is also how similar commands work in other 3d sofware I've used. Would also enable the same pattern being copied along different paths.

PS: I know this is mentioned elsewhere but please allow entering the distance as a percentage, it's really needed! It's very difficult to impossible to make designs fully parametric due to limitations in the repeating patterning tools.
